Microgaming strategic partner On Air Entertainment has been steadily filling its quiver with the ability to hit bullseyes since launching its first live dealer blackjack tables in November 2021. Now, the live streaming game provider has secured the necessary certifications and other approvals to launch a new studio available to operators licensed in Romania as well as Italy.
Adding to regional hubs and development teams in Poland, Estonia, and Latvia and the firm’s existing studio in Riga, the upcoming launch will feature 30 tables for blackjack and roulette.
To Employ 350 and Offer 30 Tables
It’s no mean fete to deploy such an operation and the endeavor will see some 350 members added to the team in order to deliver a tier-one experience with a unique backdrop created to capture the bustle and thrill of casino floor game entertainment.
The crews will include technicians and studio managers as well as dealers who have been trained to the standards found in the world’s most prestigious casinos. The games will be delivered using the latest in streaming technology as well as cutting-edge audio and video equipment.
All of the dealers will be fluent in either Romanian or Italian.
Operators licensed in the fast-growing Italian and Romanian markets are already showing interest in the new native language games, with a Q4 launch date expected to be announced soon. Details are still be held close to the chest but the company has made some low-pitched rumble about two more studios they expect to open in the last quarter of this year and Q1 2023.
Less than two weeks ago, OnAir announced it had been certified to enter its 7th Market with launches in Sweden. In the coming weeks, we expect to see Denmark and the Netherlands added to the list that already includes Malta, Isle of Man, the UK, Greece, Latvia, and the nascent regulated free market of Ontario, Canada for coverage in nine key regulated jurisdictions with more to come.
